Warandebus
The Warandebus is a bus service to and from Utrecht at Friday and Saturday nights. The bus is driven and managed by volunteers. You can use the bus for free, but you'll need a membership pass. The service has a winterbreak and a summerbreak.
It is important to always check the website, as the bus may not be in service due to defects or lack of volunteers. In that case, on Saturday nights, there is an commercial service Connexxion 450/452 from Utrecht Central station.
Imporant News
01-Dec-08 :-: WINTERSTOP! This year there will be no Warandebus on the 26th of december. The 27th and the first weekend of the new year there will be a Warandebus service like normal weekends.
Stops
The bus has two stops. One at the Warande near the really small roundabout, look for the signpost. The other one is at Utrecht, Ganzenmarkt, near the City Hall and Cafe De Zaak. See Stops (Dutch) for a map.
Membership pass
To acquire a pass, please fill in this form . It asks for your name, your home address( at Warande) and your emailaddress. Attach a portrait photo (with non-sticky stuff, like a paperclip) to the paper and drop this in the mailbox at 89s.

An interruption in service, if known in advance (say a day), is communicated through the website.
In the rare event (only just a few times a year) that the bus is not in service after all, due to a sudden defect or otherwise in the night itself, we ask you to accept our apologies
since there is no information flow possible to people waiting at the the Utrecht stop and the drivers are not able to update the website.28-09-2008
Please note that we do not have the means to refund or compensate any costs due to alternative means of transportation,
