Living with others in the same 'house' or 'unit' inevitably leads to small problems. Usually people can take care of themselves and solve their problems, but in some cases help from the outside is needed. The 'SoCo' or Social Committee provides mediation on the Warande.
Who are we?
Just four regular students who care about the social environment on the Warande complex.
What can we do?
If there's any kind of 'social' problem, we can mediate between you and the 'other(s)' as an independent third party. Stuff we handle quite often are: trouble with integration, cleaning schedules, payments to the unit, noise complaints, etc.
When and how to contact us?
Our first question is: what have you done to solve the problem and how long does it exist? If you have to answer: 'nothing' and 'a long time', please give it a try yourself first. Since we do not have enough volunteers, we are currently not able to help you. You can still get help from the SSH by contacting your housing officer or
